Centre Director - Centre of Excellence for Disability

    The Middlesex County Football Association is seeking to appoint a Director for their Centre of Excellence for Disability subject to funding. We are proud to have the opportunity to establish this centre in conjunction with the Football Association. The Centre Director will be responsible for a Centre of Excellence (Disability) team working and liaising closely with the U14 and U17 coaches. The centre will be assessed on academic, tactical, technical and welfare excellence thus good practice must be put in place and maintained by the Director and his/her team.

    Requirements:
    • Level 3 coach working towards UEFA A-License
    • Have a willingness to coach on weekends as well as travelling with the team to away fixtures and attending home games
    • Must have an understanding of working in the disabled community
    • An ability to identify talented players with a disability
    • Have a commitment to attending all sessions taking place at the centre and oversee the programme
    • Completed and clean Football Association Criminal Records Bureau Certificate
    • Attended a Child Protection course
    • Completed suitable equity training
    • Completed Basic First Aid training
    • Be a good communicator and have excellent organisational skills
