We are looking for hourly paid coaches that can work with young learners as part of an overall activity programme. Experience of working with young people aged 16-19 is essential. Any experience of managing teams (particularly women’s football and basketball) would be an advantage. A level 2 or above coaching qualification is essential with the hourly paid coaches positions. The VT health related positions are for sessional based work via our tutorial programme.
The successful coaches will be employed for a set amount of hours on a termly basis. Usually the expected working pattern will be between 12-2pm or 4-6pm to fit into the structured times of the sports activities that are offered to learners. Sessions will take place either on campus or off-site.

As part of the continuing developing service and development of the enrichment provision to meet the needs of learners aged 16-19 I would like to recruit hourly paid staff in the following areas;
Football 2x coaches (including female coach)
Basketball 2x coaches
Netball
Table tennis
Badminton
Volleyball
Streetdance
Aerobics
Linedance
Tai-chi
The addition of these coaches will ensure that the activity programme and tutorial speaker requests are in place ready to go for the start of the September term. Experience of working with young people is required. Sessions will usually run from 12-2pm and/or 4-6.30pm on a daily basis.Closing Date: 03.07.2009
