  Surrey Womens 1st XI Cricket squad are looking for a recently qualified physiotherapist who is looking to gain some work experience in a team sporting environment. Surrey ladies cricket team play in Division 2 of the County Championships and are looking for physiotherapy support on match days (home and away) on 10 Sundays during Summer 2011.

   

  Role -

  • Assistance to players before games
  • Assistance and advice regarding warm ups / warm downs on injury prevention
  • Basic First Aid cover for on field injuries
  • Basic treatment of injuries during match days
  • Emergency first aid cover
  • Provide players and coaches with information, handouts, guidance notes e.g. research / stats on Cricket injuries
  • Advice to players in terms of rehabilitation exercises / routines

   

  Personal –

  • Physiotherapy Degree (or near completion)
  • Basic First Aid training
  • Knowledge of sports injury diagnosis and treatment
  • Own transport
