The RoeActivate Officer (Club and Workforce Development) will be responsible for developing sustainable club structures across a wide range of sports and creating pathways for students to become qualified coaches, volunteers and leaders. Working closely with external partners and liaising with National Governing Bodies to link student support to strategic plans will be an essential aspect of the post.
Roehampton University has been successful in securing a grant from Sport England through the Active Universities funding stream. We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced individual to deliver “RoeActivate”, a 3-year project which will significantly increase the number of students, staff and local community who take part in sport and physical activity. This innovative project will shape sporting provision at the University and will leave a lasting legacy and impact on student life at Roehampton.
