This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to volunteer at the 2012 School Games taking place in London. The Youth Sport Trust are looking to recruit over 400 friendly, reliable and enthusiastic young and adult volunteers to make this large scale event a success.
The Youth Sport Trust are looking to recruit over 400 young and adult volunteers to support the delivery of this exciting event. Volunteers will be individuals who are friendly, outgoing and competent people with the right attitude to volunteer at the 2012 School Games! There are a number of volunteering opportunities available to suit all skills and experience with roles ranging from coordinating volunteers, helping to support the delivery of each competition, drivers to transport VIPs, event staff and officials and volunteers to work with the 2012 media team. No specific experience is required and briefings/ training will take place prior to the event to ensure that you are fully prepared for your role and responsibilities.
Who can apply?
Anyone can apply to be a School Games Volunteer if they meet the following criteria:
• Aged 16+ (anyone applying aged under 18 will require parent or guardian consent)
• Able to make the dates of the School Games
• Available to make one of the training dates (Sunday 6th May – Wednesday 9th May 2012)
• Apply by the 31st January 2012
