We need Active Camps Leaders to work for the period of 26th July to 20th August 2010. The Active Camps provide a structured physical activity and educational programme for children aged between 8 and 13 years, including fitness activities, sports, games and will incorporate learning about nutrition and other positive lifestyle behaviours.
You will be expected to plan, coordinate and deliver a programme of sporting activities for the duration of the Active Camps. This will involve overseeing and coordinating the work of the Active Camp Assistant Leaders assigned to your site. You should have a teaching certificate/sports degree qualification or at least three coaching qualifications, and experience of working with young people.
You will be based within a school environment and expected to work in both indoors and outdoors.
The working hours are from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break (12.30pm to 1.30pm).Closing Date: 12.03.2010
