Only 2 days to go! Who should win the 'Project of the Year'?
Do you know of a Sport or Physical Activity project that has had a big impact in your area?
Nominations for the 2012 Pro-Active London Awards for Community Sport and Physical Activity close this Wednesday 29th February 2012 at 5pm. This is your last chance to nominate your Project of the Year.
The Awards, sponsored by GLL, are the only regional awards which celebrate the contribution of thousands of people, the majority of whom are volunteers, and who make it possible for so many people to take part.
The ‘Project of the Year’ award sponsored by NHS London is looking for an exceptional, innovative project that has helped improve the sports participation and/or the health and wellbeing of its participants.
The nominations will be reviewed by an experienced panel of experts and three short listed candidates will be invited to the event, which will take place at the Kia Oval on the evening of the 27th April 2012. The evening will see hundreds of people from local sports clubs and community organisations rub shoulders with sports stars and enjoy a champagne reception, three course meal and entertainment throughout the evening.
If you would like to nominate somebody for this award or for any other award category, you can do so by visiting the awards website and submitting your nomination, before the deadline of February 29th
