Work's a pitch... Try Touch!
The most fun you can have at work! Play Anywhere! From car parks to staff rooms to parks, companies across the capital are getting into touch
Overview:
Adult participation project funded by the Mayor’s Legacy Fund which aims to get working men and women of London more active more regularly through the use of ‘Touch Rugby’.
Touch Rugby is a completely non-contact version of the sport which means regardless of age, fitness levels, gender and playing ability everyone can get involved.
Our offer to workplaces:
Four 1hr sessions delivered by our professional Community Rugby Coaches, this can be at the workplace (if they have facilities on site) or we can help the workplace find a suitable venue.
After those initial sessions the guys will be pretty comfortable playing themselves as the game is so easy, however we will also provide additional coaching sessions from our ‘Touch London Volunteers’ should they wish.
We will give every workplace a free bag of playing equipment so they can carry on playing, this includes cones, balls, bibs, pump. Our aim is to also invite interested teams/individuals to attend various festivals going on throughout the summer.
Workplaces currently working in:
We’ve had a real range of companies involved such as : LB Hounslow, City Hall, Kellogs, NHS Royal Free, Heinz, Chiswick Business Park, Capco, Santander, HAC to name a few
