Managing and Developing Coaches Programme launched

The Managing and Developing Coaches Programme runs from November 2007 through to March 2008 across London.  The half-day workshops in the programme are designed for people who manage, recruit or develop sports coaches.  The courses are:

• Managing Coaching within Long-Term Athlete Development (13 November 2007 and 26 February 2008)
• Recruitment into Action (10th January 2008 and 31 March 2008)
• Managing Mentors (13 November 2007 and 26 February 2008)
• Developing Coaches (10 January 2008 and 31 March 2008)
• Developing a World Class Coaching System (7 November 2007 and 17 March 2008)
• Quality Assuring Your Coaches (13 December 2007 and 20 February 2008)

The courses take place across London and cost £15 each for a half-day session for Community Sports Coach Employers, Sports Development Officers and National Governing Body Officers.  The cost for other delegates is £20.  There is a discount if you book 2 half-day sessions.  Details of each course and booking forms 2are on the courses section of the website, or from Danielle Linton on workshopbookings@lsbu.ac.uk
