Do you want to be part of the 2012 Olympic Legacy? Why not become a Sport Maker now!
Sport Makers is a new Sport England programme, aiming to increase the number of people involved in volunteering in sport
Sport Makers are the people who directly make sport happen at the local level.
Do you want to be part of the 2012 Olympic Legacy?
We need Volunteers to work across London in a huge variety of roles…..be a Sport Maker!
Do you??...
- Organise sport for yourself and your friends, colleagues and neighbours?
- Like to be that person that helps make sporting activities happen, even though you don’t like to take part yourself?
Everyone who chooses to become a Sport Maker will be invited by their county sports partnership to attend an inspiring workshop near to where they live or work. They will then be supported to find local opportunities that suit them to increase participation in sport.
These Sport Makers will organise and support hundreds of thousands of new hours of grassroots sport across the country. While doing so, they will bring the Olympic and Paralympic values to life in every community.
Everyone that signs up to be a Sport Maker gets…
- free attendance to a workshop
- a free t-shirt
- entered into a draw to win sports tickets
