Be a Real Sporting Hero - Volunteer!
Sport doesn’t just happen, it needs people to make it happen. Become a volunteer you’ll not only get the skills, knowledge and opportunities you need to get more people playing sport.
Help Make Sport Happen
If it wasn’t for the incredible numbers of people who use their time to enable others to do sport - be it in a formal or an informal setting - community sport would grind to a halt. Whether you want to organise a group of people to go running once a week, coach a 5-a-side football team, run a squash club or even serve the teas at their local cricket club – you can make sport happen and help improve community sport in your area by registering your interest below.
If you were part of the Sport Makers project and have already registered – thank you! The first phase of programme is now coming to a close, but don’t worry as we will keep in touch with you to let you know about the volunteering opportunities in your area.
You can also keep in touch by signing up to Be Inspired – the essential email that started with London 2012 and is now the biggest source of sport, volunteering and culture in the UK. Sign up here for Be Inspired.
